Editorial Policy

This policy explains how Chameleon Hideouts writes, labels, verifies, and updates guide content.

Verification

How guide claims are labeled

Chameleon Hideouts separates tactical advice from verified recommendations. A tactical pattern is a general hiding concept based on sightlines, route pressure, and common player behavior. A verified spot must include owned gameplay evidence, a map-specific route note, and a short explanation of how a seeker can counter it.

We use original tactical diagrams and owned gameplay screenshots when possible. We do not copy official screenshots, other websites' images, or private user submissions without permission. If a reader reports that a patch changed a route, we review the relevant page and update the text instead of leaving stale advice unmarked.
